Mission Statement

The Hearing Aid Centre focuses on helping the hearing impaired and their families

connect hearing to a better quality of life.

The Hearing Aid Centre is a family owned and operated clinic since 1995, focusing on helping the hearing impaired and their families improve their quality of life.

As a community based clinic, we consider you a patient not a client, by attending to your hearing needs FIRST!

SHIMON SHNAIDMAN H.I.S

Shimon founded The Hearing Aid Centre

in 1995 after graduating as a Hearing

Instrument Dispenser in 1995 from

George Brown College. He completed

his internship at Sunnybrook Hospital.

Shimon wanted to maintain the highest

level of education which led to his

completion of the Hearing Instrument Specialist Program in 2000.

Shimon's interest in the geriatric community led him to work at Baycrest Hospital for 10 years as well as his private clinic, where he built strong professional relationships alongside a multi- disciplinary team including audiologists, physicians and Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists.

These positions allowed Rachelle to gain a thorough understanding of hearing loss in people of all ages and gain extensive knowledge and experience in the dispensing of hearing devices.

Rachelle’s passion for her profession led her to obtain a Doctor of Audiology degree in 2010 from Salus University (Elkins Park, Pennsylvania). Rachelle currently works as a clinical audiologist for The Hearing Aid Centre.
